Get your emails sending
Add your postal address, check sender authentication and choose which order emails go out.
Add your postal address
Marketing emails must include your business’s physical postal address, and Cartmojo puts it in your email footers. Until your address is complete, marketing emails are paused. Order updates still send.
A complete address has a street, city and country, plus a state or province and postal code in the US and Canada.
- 1Go to Settings → General.
- 2Fill in Postal address and choose Save address.
Automation emails that were waiting on your address carry on once it’s saved, as long as that’s within 72 hours. Campaigns that were paused stay paused until you send or reschedule them.
Sender authentication
Settings → Sender authentication shows whether there’s anything for you to do. For stores that send from their own email domain, it lists the DNS records to add so inbox providers can confirm your emails are really from you.
Add the records where your domain’s DNS is managed, then choose Verify now. If a record isn’t right yet, nothing is deleted, so you can fix it and check again.
Order emails
Your store sends shoppers branded order emails: an order confirmation, shipping updates, refund notices and cancellations. Choose which ones go out, set a reply-to address, preview them and send yourself a test from Settings → Order emails.
Why emails might be paused
If your account’s billing lapses, or your postal address is missing, Cartmojo pauses sending to customers rather than letting emails go out. A banner at the top of the app tells you why and links to the fix. Test emails to yourself always work.
